A Shot In the Dark

As everyone will be glad to notice I have decided to post each and every one of the Pink Panther movies individually instead of as a box set. I have done this in lieu of the Percy Jackson fiasco. As Trevor was quick to point out the second Pink Panther movie, which does not actually include the Pink Panther diamond, is by far better than the first one. It was a who dunnit style murder mystery in which inspector Clousseau (Peter Sellers) is dedicated to proving the innocence of a beautiful young house maid who appears from all angles to be responsible for a series of murders. Against all odds Clousseau proves that she is innocent. The twist to this movie is not the who dunnit but rather the who hadn't dunnit. The one thing this movie lacked compared to the first one was the choreography laughs were really lacking. By this I mean the situational and perfectly timed coincidences that really made you laugh. It was also very heavy on Inspector Clousseau and his clumsy antics.
